  • smartphone/cellphone/tabletを英語で混同する(本文中の表現は統一する)

(81 words)

I agree that students should be allowed to use smartphones at school. First, smartphones let students look up information quickly during class. For example, if a student does not understand a word, he or she can check it on a dictionary app right away instead of waiting until later. Second, smartphones are useful in emergencies. If something dangerous happens, such as an earthquake, students can contact their families immediately. For these reasons, I believe schools should allow students to use smartphones.

  • 第1文で立場を明言する(agree/disagreeをまず宣言)
  • 理由2「緊急時の安全」→ such as an earthquake で具体化する
(131 words)

I agree that students should be allowed to use smartphones at school, provided that clear rules are in place. To begin with, smartphones allow students to access information instantly, which makes learning more efficient; if a student is unsure about a word or a fact during class, checking it immediately deepens understanding far more than looking it up later at home. In addition, smartphones play a crucial role in emergencies. Should a natural disaster occur during school hours, students would be able to contact their families and check safety information without delay. Admittedly, uncontrolled use can distract students from their lessons. However, this problem can be solved through school rules, such as limiting phone use to break times, rather than banning smartphones altogether. For these reasons, schools should allow their use.
